Distant Cellars

Our 2012 Prospect Zinfandel is composed of our estate grown Zinfandel and is our largest Zinfandel to date. A beautiful garnet color in the glass has candied fruit and cassis on the nose with woody undertones. On the palate, it opens with chewy red jam and cassis midtones with subtle favors of cedar on the finish. Beautiful acidity and structured tannins give a long, lingering finish.  This wine benefits from a slight decanting or air exposure through an opened bottle prior to drinking or can be aged in a cellar for 10-12 years for future enjoyment.
